Attorney Background

Ari GoodAri Good, JD LLM is the Shareholder of Good Attorneys At Law, P.A.  Mr. Good has extensive experience as a tax and consumer bankruptcy practitioner.  Tax services include corporate / partnership matters including structuring domestic and foreign entities for clients in the aviation and maritime industries.  The firm takes a “project management” approach to these ventures, focusing not only on single transactions and entity formation but also on ongoing income, sales, use, excise and property tax planning.  Mr. Good routinely works closely and respectfully with his client’s other tax and legal advisers, including assisting Discuss Your Caseclients’ Certified Public Accountants with niche filing and reporting matters.

Mr. Good has extensive experience in representing taxpayers nationwide in sales and use tax examinations.  His work in this area included assisting the State of Colorado to develop a uniform approach to taxing general aviation leasing structures, which approach has since been adopted in numerous other states.  Mr. Good has successfully defended dozens of clients facing hundreds of thousands of dollars of sales and use tax exposure or liability.

Mr. Good’s bankruptcy practice places the highest value on our clients’ peace of mind.  Ari helps working people facing foreclosure, unmanageable credit card debt, medical bills and other financial hardships.  The firm provides in-depth bankruptcy counseling and files Chapters 7 and 13 bankruptcy petitions for clients needing a “fresh start”.

Mr. Good received his BA, With Distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1993. He graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in 1997 and practiced as a civil litigator in Chicago, IL for two years prior to pursuing ventures in the telecommunications and human resources industries.  Mr. Good returned to the practice of law in 2005 after receiving his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida.  He subsequently joined a Naples, Florida based consulting practice providing specialized tax advice to the aviation industry.  Mr. Good launched Good Attorneys At Law, P.A. in 2008 to continue to provide the highest level of service to his clients together with his industry teammates.
